Introduction

Drivers play a crucial role in the safety and satisfaction of our riders. This Code of Conduct publicly outlines the standards and expectations for all drivers using the Island: GO! platform.

1. Safety First

• Vehicle Standards: Ensure your vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and meets all safety requirements. Your vehicle must have fully functional air conditioning and be able to reach an interior temperature that is comfortable for passengers.

• Driving Responsibly: Adhere to local traffic laws, drive defensively, and avoid distractions.

• Zero Tolerance for Intoxication: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

2. Professionalism and Respect

• Polite and Courteous: Treat all riders with respect, regardless of their background or destination.

• Dress Code: There is no dress code, but you should always maintain a clean, neat and professional appearance.

• Privacy: Respect the privacy of riders. Do not share personal information or contact riders outside of the app.

3. Communication

• Clear Communication: Keep riders informed about any delays or changes in route.

• Language: Use appropriate and respectful language at all times.

• Feedback: Constructively accept feedback from riders and the Island: GO! team.

4. Nondiscrimination Policy

• Equal Service: Provide service to all riders without discrimination based on race, gender, religion, disability, or sexual orientation.

• Accessibility: Assist riders with disabilities, including those with service animals and baggage.

5. Safety and Emergency Procedures

• In Case of Emergency: Know and follow the procedures for handling emergencies or accidents.

• Reporting Incidents: Immediately report any safety concerns or incidents to Island: GO! support.

6. Adherence to Local Laws and Regulations

• Legal Compliance: Follow all local transportation laws and regulations.

• Documentation: Keep all required documents, such as a driver's license and insurance, up to date.

7. Platform Use

• App Guidelines: Familiarize yourself with the Island: GO! app features and guidelines.
